A Family's Journey
Founded in 1967 by R. Ramalingam, Veerabhadra began as a modest storefront in Bhongir, Telangana. What started as a family business has grown, over nearly 60 years, into a store many families return to across generations.
The name "Veerabhadra" is inspired by the legendary warrior of Hindu mythology, symbolizing strength, protection, and grace. In the same spirit, we try to look after our customers with quality textiles and honest service.
We do not just sell cloth. We help families dress for weddings, festivals and everyday life, and we are glad to be part of those moments.
Today, under the stewardship of the Ramalingam family and registered as R. Ramalingam & Sons (GSTIN: 36AAAFM0188P1ZJ), Veerabhadra remains committed to its founding values: quality, honest dealing and respect for the weavers and artisans behind our collections.
Our Journey Through Time
The Beginning
R. Ramalingam opens the first Veerabhadra shop in Bhongir, opposite Gandhi Park. With a wide selection of fabrics, sarees and home textiles, the shop becomes a familiar name for textile needs in the area.
Expansion Era
Growing demand leads to separate sections for men's wear, bridal collections and festive wear, along with closer ties to weavers from nearby villages.
Veerabhadra Shopping Mall Opens
The Veerabhadra Shopping Mall opens opposite Gandhi Park, Station Road, Bhongir. The bigger space brings modern facilities while keeping the personal touch.
Going Digital
We start a WhatsApp catalogue and begin engaging with customers online, so families can browse from home while still getting the personal attention of the store.
New Horizons
We launch our website, bringing nearly 60 years of experience to a wider audience while staying rooted in Bhongir.
